Fashion Photographers

IMPACT210 recently partnered with top fashion photographer Alexandre Callier to shoot an upcoming “flash forward” fashion editorial spread, which will appear in the October issue of IMPACT210. The Magazine. “Working with Alexander Callier has opened our eyes to a whole different level of

as art,” says IMPACT 210 CEO Michael Fomkin. In addition to selecting fresh faces from the street, Alexander chose a handful of IMPACT210’s own models, including Margaret and Torre. Twenty-year-old Margaret was discovered in one of the most unlikely places of all — a New York City subway. Everything about the blonde stunner captured our scout’s attention in the crowd.

Hailing from Olympia, WA, the New York University student has her sights set on high fashion, print modeling and film..

Digital

Opens Field To Countless Amateurs

When taking pictures today with digital photography it is almost guaranteed that the picture will come out reasonable close to being technically correct. While composition and posing is still the task of the photographer, there is little left to chance with most of the automatic cameras in use. Additionally, with digital photography the picture can be viewed nearly instantaneously and if there is something wring with the exposure, it can be deleted from memory and shot again.

DIGITAL CAMERA: THE FUTURE OF CAMERAS

Basically a digital camera is a device used to capture pictures without the use of films. Unlike the conventional camera, the digital camera does not rely on mechanical and chemical processes. It has a built in computer and records the images it captures in an electronic form.

Having and operating one does not even require the use of electricity. Since the images that a digital camera captures is in electronic form, it is a language recognized by computers. This language is called pixels, tiny colored dots represented by ones and zeros that make up the picture that you just took. Just like any conventional cameras, a digital camera is furnished with a series of lenses that focus the light and creates the image that you want to capture. The difference here is then; a conventional camera focuses its light on a film while a digital camera focuses the light into a semiconductor device that electronically records the light.
